[TheToolWiz] The latest Tool Wiz news…

It’s The Tool Wiz here with the latest news!We here in America just celebrated “Turkey Day” last week, otherwise known as Thanksgiving Day. This is a holiday where we celebrate the generosity of a local tribe of native Indians back in the mid-1700s. They came to the rescue of a large group of English settlers to The New World who surely would have died without their help. And this country may not have become what it is today.

Things have been rather quiet lately: I recently took a full-time position working for the German sofware company SAP. I’m the Project Lead for a large software package they’ve got that’s written in Delphi, the programming language and platform that I’ve been working with for over 10 years now.

I wrote both Clickbank Tagger and ArticleTwister in Delphi. And while I regard them as very simple applications, most of my customers and users find them rather complicated. Part of that is just the nature of the beast, based on what they do.

This project at SAP was supposedly created by a team of 50 developers over a two-year time period. It was sold for $10M about 18 months ago to a local company that was purchased by SAP back in January of this year. I’m one of five people working on it. Do you think we’ve got our hands full? ;-)

As a result, I’m going to be spending less time on my Internet Marketing activities, at least for a while.

One interesting side-effect of becoming a product publisher and promoter in the IM world is that you get on everybody’s mailing list as a potential JV partner. Believe me, I get TONS of offers to promote stuff to my lists. It’s very tempting to forward most of it, but I’ve learned that my customers are a very discerning lot.

I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I really do my best to only forward on things that I think you’d like. I’ve noticed that click-thrus on many of the items I’ve mentioned are quite healthy, but result in very few actual purchases. I’m not sure why that is. So please feel free to send me a short note about your thoughts regarding any particular product referrals I’ve made and why they may not be relevant for you.

There are a few things I’ve been reviewing over the past couple of weeks that I’ll likely be dicussing in the near future.

Anyway, one thing I do know is that the majority of my customers are involved in some way or other building web sites that are used for generating AdSense income. So PLR material is a natural fit for many of you. I’ve been offering some high-quality PLR content through my main site for several months. It’s been selling quite nicely on an a la carte basis.

However, a number of people have asked about getting a subscription. I thought it would be easier to just grab whatever you’d want when you want it. Then somebody emailed me yesterday wondering when the November files would be available. Well, slap me silly! I put them up weeks ago — only I left the permission setting so only I (the Admin) could see them. DUH!

So, I decided to go ahead and offer a subscription for this content to make sure that those who want it quickly have a way to get it “hot off the press” so to speak. It’s a very reasonable $25/mo for a package of 10 sets of articles, 25 per topic. They’re 400-600 words each. You can use them any way you want, but only for your own purposes. You cannot resell them, and you cannot post them to article directories without substantially modifying them (~50% or more).

Go check out the page. If you subscribe before December 1st, you’ll get the November package as a bonus. (See the note above the Subscribe button for more details.)

SPECIAL OFFER: if you sign up for a subscription and send me something I can use as a testimonial about the quality of the content, you can pick one of the earlier PLR packages (Aug, Sep, or Oct) as a gift. PLEASE USE THE “CONTACT US” PAGE TO SUBMIT YOUR TESTIMONIAL.

That’s it for now!
