Why Don’t Programmers Make More Money?

We as programmers tend to have one generic fault: we like to engage in “big picture” design and development.  That’s the kind of work we’re usually hired to do, and it pays the best.  And admit it, it’s fun!

But WHAT IF …  someone said they’d hire you and pay you between $10k and $30k per month if you could turn out a new app every month, complete with a video tutorial, installation script, basic sales page, basic support, and handle all the sales through your own PayPal account.   What would you say?

Tips to Prevent Identity Theft

I recently read something that’s apparently being passed around the internet under the guise of “good advice from a lawyer”. Unfortunately, even lawyers aren’t very bright when it comes to some of this stuff! Most of the advice is pure rubbish. I recently lost my wallet and had fraudulant charges show up on some credit cards, so I’ve got some insight into what’s what in this respect. So here are a few tips. Note: I’m not a lawyer, but as I said, just because someone may be a lawyer, that doesn’t make what they say necessarily useful.
