In case you don’t know, RAP is a php script initially based
around the venerable $7 Secrets Script. However, the author,
Sid Hale, has made a BUNCH of additions to it that make it
a far superior script, and much more SECURE.

The main BENEFIT of RAP is that your AFFILIATES GET PAID
IMMEDIATELY. This has THREE direct consequences for you:

1) Affiliates are REALLY HAPPY because they don’t have to
wait 60-90 days to get paid. It’s like RIGHT NOW.

2) You don’t have to worry about collecting the funds,
waiting, suffering over that money sitting in your account,
and finally having to send it out to the affiliates.

3) If your a US-based company (and probably elsewhere), you
won’t have to worry about getting tax info from your
affiliates and sending them 1099’s for their earnings.

Now, the biggest concern people have with this approach is
with refunds. This script handles refunds in a way where
the person who got the commission pays the refund.

Personally, I don’t care. As long as your refunds are under
5%, it’s pretty much a wash, because you’re not losing
another 3% when you pay Affiliates, and the added TIME
SAVINGS that accrues from not having to deal with tax
issues is a blessing as far as I’m concerned.

Sid says that informal polls to his user base indicates
that refund rates are under 2% anyway. So it’s a non-issue
in most cases.
