[TheToolWiz] One Traffic Secret John Reese won’t tell you!

Things have been quiet for me lately, but they’re about
to take off.  I wanted to share this with you.  It’s
kinda long, but I hope you’ll stick with me.  It might not
interest you immediately, but it’s something to think
about.

There are a couple of things to buy here, but they’re
awfully affordable.  More than that, this is the first
in what I expect to be several messages along a new
theme that could be VERY PROFITABLE for all of us.
So stay tuned.

BTW, you can also now follow me on Twitter:

Now that all the noise has settled down about John Reese’s
new Traffic Secrets launch, I have a little tip about one
“traffic secret” that I seriously doubt JR will be telling
you about.  This one is from my friend and reluctant mentor,
WillieCrawford:

Do NOT ‘upgrade’ to WP 2.6!

I just got done restoring the previous version of someone who asked me to upgrade their Wordpress blog.

The good folks at Wordpress.org released V2.6 “over a month early”.  But it has a problem if you’re upgrading from an earlier blog: the Categories get messed up.

So if you’re going to upgrade, do NOT move to 2.6 yet.

And always remember to do a backup of you database before you run the upgrade!

BTW, I’m available to do installs and upgrades for Wordpress, Rapid Action Profits, and other scripts at $50/hr.

iPhone 3G - The Birth Of A New Platform

Today is July 11, 2008. It’s the day the iPhone 3G was released into the market. WOW! I’d love to get one of these puppies.

I have a friend who thinks it’s just a bunch of hullaballoo about nothing. He’s missing the point. And maybe the boat.  The truth is, the iPhone finally delivers what Bill Gates has been talking about for 10 years, saying how Windows will revolutionize mobile computing.  Only Bill never envisioned what Apple has actually accomplished!

Have You Read A Legal Brief Today?

I just stumbled into this:

http://www.law.com/jsp/legaltechnology/pubArticleLT.jsp?id=1202422768997

It’s about a free site where you can search for legal briefs and whatnot.

You might think, “so what?”

How about this:

Quote:
… beyond lawyers, there are many people searching the Web for legal information. In fact, a 2006 Harris Interactive survey found that the number exceeds one fourth of all Americans. “People are becoming more sophisticated,” Cuyler notes. “The first thing they do is find information about an issue, then look for a lawyer.”

Check out the blog the article refers to. You’ll find it contains some surprisingly interesting articles! Wink

What are your thoughts?

-David

After a long silence…

Well, I’m finally getting around to posting something here after a long silence.  Something went wonky with my blog and I couldn’t access anything on the plugins page and some other stuff.  So I just stopped posting things.

I don’t really have more to say at the moment.  But I’ll be posting a little more regularly again shortly.

[TheToolWiz] Happy Easter!

Hello

I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to wish all of my
clients and customers a really Happy Easter!

I’ve been hanging out today at the “Mile High Grill” in
Jerome, Arizona. It has a wonderful east-facing view over
the Verde Valley. At the other side of the valley are the
Red Rocks of Sedona, about 15 miles away. It looks an awful
lot like the view from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Only in this case you get to see the setting sun making the
Sedona area take on a wonderful shimmering red glow as it
goes down behind us here. It’s truly humbling and inspiring!

[TheToolWiz] I’m about to release a cool new tool!

Hello!

I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know I’m about
to release a really cool new tool. This time I’ve partnered
with Willie Crawford, who’s handling the marketing.

The name of this new tool is the “Viral Document Toolkit”.

It’s used to create branded viral documents.

However, unlike most “PDF Branders”, VDT will allow you to
brand ANYTHING within the document! What that means is you
can identify any text in the document to be replaceable.
You can add embedded links to any text AND IMAGES! And the
best part is you don’t have to worry about these changes
causing problems with the “flow” of the document. So you
can change blocks of text, biographical data, etc., at
will.

[TheToolWiz] RAP 2.0 announcement

Hello and Happy February!

You probably aren’t hearing about this from every corner of
the internet, but perhaps you should be.

Rapid Action Profits V2.0 has just been released. And the
price has gone from $67 to $127. But I have a special
discount coupon for you to use before Thursday night to
get it for $67.

http://www.thetoolwiz.com/HotPicks/RAP20Special
In case you don’t know, RAP is a php script initially based
around the venerable $7 Secrets Script. However, the author,
Sid Hale, has made a BUNCH of additions to it that make it
a far superior script, and much more SECURE.

The main BENEFIT of RAP is that your AFFILIATES GET PAID
IMMEDIATELY. This has THREE direct consequences for you:
